Abstract
La presente proporciona una composición de polietileno adecuada para aplicaciones de película estirable y, un método para producir la misma, y la película moldeada realizada a partid de dicha composición. La composición de polietileno de baja densidad lineal adecuada para aplicaciones de película estirable de acuerdo con la presente comprende: menos o igual al 100% en peso de las unidades derivadas de etileno; y menos del 35% en peso de unidades derivadas de uno o más comonómeros a-olefina; en donde dicha composición de polietileno de baja densidad lineal tiene una densidad en el orden de 0,900 a 0,930 g/cm³, una distribución de peso molecular (Mʷ/Mₙ) en el orden de 2,4 a 4,5, un índice de fusión (I₂) en el orden de 0,3 a 10 g/10 minutos, una distribución de peso molecular (Mᶻ/Mʷ) en el orden de 2,2 a 3, insaturación de vinilo de menos del 0,1 vinilos por mil átomos de carbono presentes en la columna de dicha composición, y una relación de viscosidad en corte cero (ZSVR) en el orden de 1 a 1,2.
