Abstract
Se proporciona una composición para cuidado oral que comprende un copolímero de fosfato/acrilato, una sal de estaño y un portador oralmente aceptable y métodos para utilizar los mismos. Reivindicación 2: La composición de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el copolímero de fosfato / acrilato es un producto copolimerizado de una mezcla de ácido acrílico, ácido metacrílico, y fosfatos de 2-hidroxietil metacrilato de la fórmula (1) en donde n es 0, 1 ó 2. Reivindicación 4: La composición de conformidad con la reivindicación 2 ó 3, caracterizada porque el copolímero de fosfato / acrilato es un producto copolimerizado de una mezcla de ácido acrílico, ácido metacrílico, y fosfatos de 2-hidroxietil metacrilato de fórmula (1) que comprende ácido acrílico en un porcentaje molar de 80 - 90% ó 85%; ácido metacrílico en un porcentaje molar de 5 - 15% ó 11%; y fosfatos de hidroxietil metacrilato de la fórmula (1) en un porcentaje molar de 2 - 6% ó 4%. Reivindicación 8: La composición de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizada porque la sal de estaño comprende SnCl₂. Reivindicación 12: La composición de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizada porque la composición es un enjuague bucal, pasta dentífrica, gel dentífrico, polvo dentífrico, gel no abrasivo, mousse, espuma, rocío bucal, pastilla, comprimido oral, implemento dental o producto para el cuidado de mascotas. Reivindicación 14: Un uso de cualquiera de las composiciones de conformidad con las reivindicaciones 1 - 12, para el tratamiento e/o inhibición de una mancha química, placa, erosión ácida, y/o sarro sobre una superficie dental que comprende poner en contacto la superficie dental con la composición. Reivindicación 15: Un método para el tratamiento e/o inhibición de una enfermedad de las encías, caracterizado porque comprende poner en contacto la cavidad oral con una composición de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 12.
