Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un método para reducir la aparición de alergias en un niño de alrededor dos años de edad o mayor, caracterizado porque comprende la etapa de administrar al niño, cuando el niño es un bebé, una composición nutricional que comprende una fuente de grasa o lípido, una fuente de carbohidrato, y una fuente de proteína que comprende proteínas de suero y caseína, en donde la proporción de suero con respecto a las proteínas de caseína en la fuente de proteína es desde alrededor de 50:50 hasta alrededor de 70:30 en peso y en donde el grado de hidrólisis de las proteínas de suero y caseína incluidos en la fuente de proteína es desde alrededor de 4% hasta alrededor de 10%. Reivindicación 2: El método de la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque la composición nutricional además comprende fuente de probiótico. Reivindicación 3: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque la fuente de probiótico comprende un probiótico seleccionado del grupo que consiste de especies Lactobacilos, Lactobacilos rhamnosus GG, especies Bifidobacterium, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BB-12, y combinaciones de los mismos.
