Abstract
Reivindicacion 1: Un método para reducir los niveles postprandiales de glucosa en sangre caracterizado porque comprende: administrar una mezcla de 2 a 50 gramos de proteína nativa de suero y 0,5 a 20 gramos de fibra viscosa a un sujeto al menos 5 a 90 minutos antes de una comida, el método efectivo para reducir niveles postprandiales de glucosa en sangre en al menos aproximadamente 5% en comparacion con el mismo sujeto que no se le administra una mezcla de proteína nativa de suero y fibra viscosa antes de una comida. Reivindicacion 2: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 1 caracterizado porque la proteína nativa de suero tiene un nivel de hidrolisis de 2 % o menos. Reivindicacion 4: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 2, caracterizado porque la fibra viscosa se selecciona del grupo que consiste en hidroxipropilmetilcelulosa, goma arábiga, carboximetilcelulosa de sodio, metilcelulosa, goma guar, goma gellan, goma garrofín, harina de konjac, goma tragacantio, goma caraya, goma acacia, chitosan, arabinoglactinas, glucomanan, goma xantano, alginato, pectina, metoxipectina inferior y superior, beta-glucanos, caragenina, silio y sus mezclas. Reivindicacion 8: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 7, caracterizado porque la composicion comestible que incluye proteína nativa de suero se selecciona del grupo que consiste en una bebida, un suplemento nutritivo, una composicion alimenticia, un producto de reemplazo de una comida y sus mezclas. Reivindicacion 9: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 8, caracterizado porque la bebida se selecciona del grupo que consiste en agua, jugo de fruta, bebida con sabor a fruta de bajas calorías, café, té, bebida suave, bebida de leche, bebida carbonatada y sus mezclas. Reivindicacion 10: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 8, caracterizado porque el suplemento nutricional se selecciona del grupo que consiste en vitaminas, minerales, oligoelementos, fitoquímicos y sus mezclas. Reivindicacion 11: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 8, caracterizado, porque la composicion alimenticia se selecciona del grupo que consiste en productos en base a lácteos, productos en base a soja, panes y productos en base a cereal, tortas, galletas, bizcochos, productos para untar, emulsiones de aceite en agua, helados, postres, sopas, concentrados en polvo para sopa, salsas, concentrados en polvo para salsa, barras para la salud, confituras, bocadillos, productos alimenticios listos para comer, productos comestibles pre-empacados, productos alimenticios secos y sus mezclas.
