Abstract
La presente invencion es un método para aumentar la fuerza de fusion de una resma de polietileno que comprende hacer reaccionar la resma de polietileno con un generador de radicales libres con una energía de descomposicion de entre -50 kJ/mol y -250 kJ/mol y una temperatura de descomposicion máxima menor a los 280s C. La resma resultante tiene mayor fuerza de fusion con el mayor índice de viscosidad de elongacion de 0,1 a 100 rad/s en comparacion con las resinas de polietileno sustancialmente similares que no han reaccionado con un generador de radicales libres como un derivado de la alcoxi-amina.
