Abstract

La presente solicitud se refiere a una planta para laminar un tubo sin costura, típicamente con un diámetro de medio a grande. La planta comprende un extrusor de laminado principal con laminados ajustables para laminado por mandril de un tubo semiterminado. La planta también comprende un extrusor reductor/extractor de laminado fijo posicionado hacia abajo del laminador principal y en serie. El extrusor reductor/extrusor está disenado para extraer el tubo semiterminado del mandril y reducir su diámetro a un valor predeterminado cercano al deseado para el tubo terminado. Por ultimo, una planta comprende un extrusor calibrador de laminado ajustable. El extrusor calibrador está posicionado hacia abajo del extrusor reductor/extractor y fuera de línea con respecto al ultimo. El extrusor calibrador está disenado para ajustar la posicion radial de los laminados y definir el diámetro del tubo saliente.
