Abstract
Especies Brassica mejoradas, que incluyen Brassica juncea, aceite y harina mejorados de Brassica juncea, métodos para la regeneracion de dichas especies Brassica mejoradas, y métodos para la seleccion de líneas Brassica. Otras realizaciones se refieren a semillas de Brassica juncea que comprenden un aceite endogeno que posee un contenido aumentado de ácido oleico y un contenido disminuido de ácido linolénico respecto de los cultivos comerciales existentes en la actualidad de Brassica juncea, semillas de Brassica juncea que poseen rasgos para un mayor contenido de ácido oleico y un menor contenido de ácido linolénico en el aceite de semilla allí incorporado establemente, y una o más generaciones de plantas de progenie producidas a partir de dichas semillas.
