Abstract
Métodos para producir un fenotipo deseado en una planta por manipulacion de la expresion genética dentro de la planta. El método se relaciona con medios que incrementan el nivel de expresion de un polipéptido MyB subgrupo 14 o un polipéptido MyB68. El método también se refiere a la expresion de una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un factor de transcripcion de MyB- subgrupo 14 o MyB68. Los métodos están dirigidos a elevar los niveles de expresion de un MyB subgrupo 14 o un MyB68, donde se observa un fenotipo deseado, tal como un aborto floral reducido y un mayor rendimiento durante tension térmica.
