Abstract

La descripcion provee un chasis de contenedor bimodal de diferentes longitudes de tipo cuello de ganso, además de un tipo de haz plano para ISO de apoyo y contenedores locales, y otras cargas durante tránsito en autopistas y en trenes. El chasis de contenedor bimodal tiene un extremo anterior equipado con una varilla king para conectar a un tractor, y un extremo posterior equipado con componentes de freno y de suspension, ejes, ruedas y neumáticos, por lo cual el chasis de contenedor bimodal es adecuado para el transporte terrestre. El chasis de contenedor bomidal tiene extremos anterior y posterior para conectar y así suspender el chasis de contenedor bimodal, que incluye, sin limitaciones, su carga util entre dos boguis de tren, por lo que el chasis de contenedor bimodal es adecuado para el tránsito por vías. El chasis de contenedor bimodal está construido con suficiente resistencia y rigidez para soportar fuerzas de transporte de 400.000 libras de tension y compresion, sin embargo, el chasis de contenedor bimodal está construido para un peso razonable a fin de resultar competitivo y cumplir con las layes de puentes, además de otras reglamentaciones de carreteras.
