Abstract
Un reforzador para un promotor de genes que produce u incremento en la expresion de un promotor en plantas. Dicho reforzador está constituido por una secuencia de nucleotidos rica en bases A y T, comprendiendo la cantidad total de bases A y T más del 50% de la secuencia de nucleotidos, donde dicho reforzador es una secuencia aislada seleccionada del grupo que consiste de SEQ ID N:1; una secuencia que es una sub-secuencia encontrada en SEQ ID N.:1, donde dicha sub-secuencia es activa como reforzador, las siguientes secuencias de SEQ ID N.:1, secuencias de pares de bases nucleotídicas -444 a -389; -388 a -284; -283 a -179; -444 a -284 y -388 a -179; SEQ ID N.:2; SEQ ID N.:3; o cualquier secuencia similar que tenga una homología tal que mantenga la labilidad reforzada de cada una de dichas secuencias y donde el reforzador no está unido a secuencias nucleotídicas que son contiguas en la region 5' no traducida de un gen de plastocianina de arveja de ocurrencia natural. También se describen los métodos para activar o incrementar la expresion de un promotor, utilizando dicho reforzadores y las secuencias de ADN quimérico que comprenden dichos reforzadores y la plantas, células y propagulos, que comprenden dichos reforzadores.
