Abstract
Composiciones y métodos para conferir resistencia a herbicidas en bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos y semillas. Acidos nucleicos que comprenden una secuencia codificante para un polipéptido que confiere resistencia o tolerancia a herbicidas tipo glifosato. Las secuencias codificantes pueden usarse en construcciones de ADN o cassettes de expresion para obtener la transformacion y expresion en plantas. Las composiciones también comprenden bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos y semillas transformadas. Se describen moléculas de ácidos nucleicos aisladas que corresponden a secuencias de ácidos nucleicos que confieren resistencia a glifosato. Adicionalmente, se incluyen secuencias de aminoácidos que corresponden a los polinucleotidos. En particular, se proveen moléculas de ácidos nucleicos aisladas que comprenden secuencias de nucleotidos que codifican la secuencia de aminoácidos detallada en SEQ ID Ns 3 o la secuencia de nucleotidos detallada en SEQ ID Ns 1 o 2.
