Abstract
Un polinucleótido aislado que codifica un polipéptido BRITTLE STALK 2 (BK2). La presente también se refiere a la construcción de un gen quimérico que codifica todo el polipéptido BK2 o una porción del mismo, con orientación en el sentido del marco de lectura o antisentido, donde la expresión del gen quimérico da como resultado la producción de niveles alterados del polipéptido BK2 en una célula huésped transformada.
