Abstract

Esta invencion se refiere a un polinucleotido aislado que codifica para el polipeptido BRITTLE STALK 2 (BK2). La invencion tambien se refiere a la construccion de un gen quimerico que codifica para todo o una porcion del polipeptido de BK2, en orientacion en sentido o antisentido, en donde la expresion del gen quimerico da como resultado la produccion de niveles alterados del polipeptido BK2 en una celula hospedera transformada.
