Abstract
En un proceso para convertir metano en hidrocarburos superiores que incluye hidrocarburos aromáticos, una alimentacion que contiene metano se pone en contacto con un catalizador de deshidrociclacion bajo condiciones eficaces para convertir dicho metano en hidrocarburos aromáticos y producir una primera corriente de efluente que comprende hidrocarburos aromáticos e hidrogeno, donde dicha primera corriente de efluente comprende por lo menos 5% en peso más de hidrocarburos aromáticos que dicha alimentacion. Por lo menos parte del hidrogeno de dicha primera corriente de efluente se hace reaccionar luego con una especie que contiene oxígeno, tal como dioxido de carbono, para producir una segunda corriente de efluente que tiene un contenido de hidrogeno reducido en comparacion con dicha primera corriente de efluente.
