Abstract

Un método para comunicar una lista de candidatos para conmutacion (handover) en una red de área local inalámbrica desde una estacion a un punto de acceso de servicio (AP) empieza con la determinacion de una lista de AP candidatos para conmutacion en la estacion. La lista de candidatos se selecciona en la estacion y se envía al AP servidor. El paso de envío puede incluir el envío de la lista de candidatos al AP servidor al terminar un período predeterminado o al recibirse en la estacion un accionador de evento. El método también puede incluir el paso de solicitar el AP servidor una lista de candidatos de la estacion.
