Abstract
Un sistema de comunicaciones inalámbrico que presenta una red de acceso de radio (RAN). El terminal inalámbrico se conecta o un nodo en servicio en la RAN. El terminal inalámbrico intercambia mensajes con un nodo en servicio para soportar un traspaso a un nodo objetivo en la RAN. El nodo objetivo recibe el traspaso y suministra al terminal inalámbrico la identidad de uno o más mensajes enviados del nodo en servicio al nodo objetivo que no tuvieron un acuse de recibo por el terminal inalámbrico. El terminal inalámbrico suministra informacion al nodo objetivo para evitar la retransmision de uno o más mensajes anulados luego del traspaso.
