Abstract

Se provee un tensor de correa de transmision que utiliza control asimétrico de movimientos y es operable en un primer estado y un segundo estado. El tensor de correa (14) tiene un brazo (18) con una seccion posicionadora de correa (22) y una seccion en forma de tambor (269, un elemento de soporte (16) para soportar el tensor (14) en forma relativa a la correa (12) y un resorte (20) que urge al brazo (18) a pivotar alrededor del elemento de soporte (16) en una primera direccion y urge la seccion posicionadora de correa (22) contra la correa (12) con una fuerza para tensar la correa. El tensor (14) también tiene un estator (28) acoplado al elemento de soporte (16) para conformar cavidades arqueadas (35), las cuales están espaciadas circunferencialmente alrededor del estator (28) entre el estator y la seccion en forma de tambor (26) y cunas (32) de forma arqueada alojadas en las cavidades arqueadas (35). El tensor (14) comprende además un resorte de disco (Belleville) (33,133) acoplado al brazo (18) para pivotar con éste y un dispositivo friccionante (30,130) en contacto deslizante con las cunas (32) y el resorte de Belleville (33,133).
