Abstract

Un sistema y un método para la administracion transdérmica de una vacuna a un paciente, que comprenden un dispositivo de suministro de iontoforesis que tiene un electrodo donante, un contraelectrodo, sistema circuitos eléctricos para suministrar la energía de iontoforesis a los electrodos, y un miembro de microsalientes no electroactivo que tiene una pluralidad de microsalientes para puncion del estrato corneo, que se extienden desde él. La vacuna puede estar contenida en una formulacion de hidrogel en un deposito de agente dispuesto proximo al electrodo donante, en un revestimiento biocompatible dispuesto sobre las microsalientes, o en ambos.
