Abstract

Un aparato y un método para la administracion por vía transdérmica de un agente biologicamente activo, basados en fentanil, que comprende un sistema de administracion que posee un miembro ( o sistema) con microproyecciones que incluye una pluralidad de microproyecciones (o un arreglo de las mismas) adaptadas paraperforar el estrato corneo e ingresar a la capa epidérmica o a las capas epidérmica y dérmica. En una realizacion, el agente basado en fentanil está contenido en un recubrimiento biocompatible que se aplica al miembro con microproyecciones En una realizacion adicional, el sistema de administracion incluye un pack de gel que posee una formulacion de hidrogel que contiene un agente basado en fentanil que se dispone sobre el miembro microproyecciones después de la aplicacion a la piel de un paciente. En una realizacion adicional, el agente basado en fentanil está contenido tanto en el recubrimiento como en la formulacion de hidrogel.
