Abstract
Un método para colar una banda de acero introduciendo acero al carbono no aleado fundido sobre superficies de colada de al menos un rodillo de colada donde el acero fundido tiene un contenido de nitrógeno libre por debajo de 120 ppm y un contenido de hidrógeno libre por debajo de aproximadamente 6,5 ppm medido a presión atmosférica. El contenido de nitrógeno libre puede estar por debajo de aproximadamente 100 ppm o por debajo de aproximadamente 85 ppm. El contenido de hidrógeno libre puede estar comprendido entre 1,0 ppm y 6,5 ppm a presión atmosférica. Se produce una banda laminada nueva de acero al carbono no aleado con un grosor de banda de menos de 5 mm o de menos de 2 mm utilizando el método.
