Abstract
Se refiere a un método para controlar y comprimir una dispersión de dos líquidos formados en la etapa de mezcla de extracción líquido-líquido. La compresión de la dispersión se logra reduciendo la sección transversal de la sección de separación en la dirección de flujo y equipando la sección de separación con un miembro de dispersión-obstrucción. El equipo de acuerdo con la presente comprende de este modo un sedimentador, que es esencialmente de forma trapezoidal de modo que su sección transversal es mas amplia en el extremo de alimentación del sedimentador y se vuelve más pequeno hacia el extremo posterior del sedimentador, a part6ir de donde las soluciones separadas son descargadas desde el sedimentador, y el sedimentador está equipado con por lo menos un dispositivo para obstruir la dispersión. En particular, el método y el equipo se refieren al procedimiento de extracción utilizado en la recuperación de metales.
