Abstract
Preparación y uso de fragmentos de ácido nucleico que son de utilidad para alterar el fenotipo de aceites en plantas. Construcción quimérica que contiene dichos fragmentos de ácido nucleico y secuencias reguladoras adecuadas para crear plantas transgénicas con perfiles de lípidos alterados. También se describen métodos para alterar el fenotipo de aceites en plantas usando dichos fragmentos de ácido nucleico. Reivindicación 1: Un fragmentos aislado de nucleótidos, caracterizado porque comprende una secuencia de ácido nucleico seleccionada del grupo formado por: (a) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un primer polipéptido que tiene actividad proteína quinasa de tipo receptor, donde dicho primer polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 85% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un segundo polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N°: 2 o 4; (b) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un tercer polipéptido que tiene actividad MAP quinasa-quinasa-quinasa, donde dicho tercer polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 70% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un cuarto polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N° 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 493, 495 o 497; (c) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un noveno polipéptido que tiene actividad de factor de transcripción de tipo LIP15, donde dicho noveno polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 85% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con a décimo polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N°:148, 152 o 154; (d) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un decimoprimer polipéptido que tiene actividad tipo caleosina, donde dicho decimoprimer polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 70% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un decimosegundo polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N°: 158, 160, 162, 164, 166, 168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 194, 196, 198, 499, 501, 503, 505, 507, 509, 511, 513, 515, 517, 519, 521, 523, 525, o 527; o (e) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un decimotercer polipéptido que tiene actividad ATP citrato liasa, donde dicho decimotercer polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 94% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un decimocuarto polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N°: 200, 202, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 216, 218, 220, 222, 224, 226, 228, 230, o 232; ó (f) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un decimoquinto polipéptido que tiene actividad tipo SNF1, donde dicho decimoquinto polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 90% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un decimosexto polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N° 244, 256 o 258; o (g) una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un decimonoveno polipéptido que tiene actividad de factor de transcripción tipo CKC, donde dicho decimonoveno polipéptido presenta por lo menos un 88% de identidad sobre la base del método de alineación de Clustal cuando se compara con un vigésimo polipéptido seleccionado del grupo formado por las SEQ ID N°: 310, 312, 316, 318, 320, 328, 330, 332, 338, 342, 344, 348, 352, 354, 358, 362, 477, 478, 481, 483, 485, 487, 489 o 491.
