Abstract

Una molécula de ácido nucleico, que codifica una proteína vinculadora de sucrosa, que comprende una secuencia promotora operativamente unida en unasecuencia de ácido nucleico, donde la secuencia de ácido nucleico codifica una proteína seleccionada de entre el grupo consistente en: (a) una proteínamodificada vegetal vinculadora de sucrosa que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos modificada con respecto a una proteína de tipo salvajevinculadora de sucrosa correspondiente, y en lacual la expresion de la proteína modificada vinculadora de sucrosa, en un sistema de ensayo conlevadura, confiere una toma de sucrosa acrecentada con respecto a la correspondiente proteína de tipo salvaje vinculadora de sucrosa; (b) unaproteína que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos indicada en la Seq. I.D. N*3; (c) una proteína que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos indicada en la Seq.I.D. N*4; (d) una proteína que tiene secuencias de aminoácidos que tienen una identidad de secuencia de por lo menos el 70% con la secuencia deaminoácidos de (b) o (c); proteína vinculadora de sucrosa y método para producir una proteína vinculadora de sucrosa.
