Abstract

Se provee un catalizador de blanqueado y oxidacion que comprende un complejo de hierro, manganeso o cobre catalíticamente activo que incluye un ligandopentadentado especificado con contenido de nitrogeno. El complejo de metal puede activar peroxidod e hidrogeno o peroxiácidos y provee propiedadesfavorables en términos de eliminacion de manchas. Además, se ha obtenido una estabilidad considerablemente mejor de estos compuestos de complejosde metal en entornos acuosos alcalinos, en particular aco ncentraciones del compuesto peroxi generalmente presente en el licor de lavado de telas.
