Abstract

Se proporciona un método para el blanqueo de telas manchadas mediante el lavado de una tela manchada en un licor de lavado acuoso en presencia de un aditivo de lavado que comprende un ligando que forma un complejo de metal de transición como catalizador de blanqueo, donde el complejo cataliza el blanqueo de las manchas con el oxígeno de la atmósfera. El aditivo de lavado incluye, preferentemente, un complejo de hierro que comprende el ligado N, N-bis(piridin-2-il-metil)1,1-bis(piridin-2-il)1-aminoetano. Uno de, o ambos, el aditivo para lavado y el licor de lavado, carecen sustancialmente de un blanqueador de peroxígeno o un sistema blanqueador a base de peroxi o que genera peroxi. El aditivo de lavado provee un perfil de blanqueo de la mancha mejorado o más amplio.
