Abstract
Método para producir ácido carboxílico puro y ácido tereftálico puro por oxidacion catalítica en fase líquida que comprende: a) formar una corriente dealimentacion que comprende solvente y un catalizador de oxidacion, a una presion del rango de 2000a 10.000 kPa; b) disolver oxígeno gaseoso en la corriente dealimentacion para obtener una concentracion de oxígeno del rango de 0,5 a 3,0% p/p y opcionalmente precalentar la corriente de alimentacion a una temperaturadel rango de 120 a 180sC;c)alime ntar continua y simultáneamente la corriente de alimentacion y dicho precursor a una zona de reaccion en línea para formar unmedio de reaccion en el cual la relacion solvente: precursor es de por lo menos 30:1 y el ácido carboxílicoresultante se man tiene en solucion a medida que seforma; d) reducir sistemáticamente la presion del medio de reaccion del paso; c) mientras se lo enfría a una temperatura del rango de 120 a 180SC, con lo cualprecipitan cristales de ácido puro paraformar una lechada; e) opcionalmente, concentrar la lechada, y f) recuperar los cristales de ácido puro de la lechada yproducto que se obtiene en dicho proceso.
