Abstract

Una composicion oftálmica para ser administrada como un líquido que se gelifica luego de la instilacion en el ojo, donde la composicion tiene unaresistencia ionica total de alrededor de 120 mM o menos, que comprende goma de xantano que tiene unconte nido inicial de acetato enlazado de al menos alrededorde 4% y un contenido inicial de piruvato enlazado de al menos alrededor del 2,5 %, si la composicion no contiene goma de algarrobilla.
