Método que mejora las propiedades mecánicas de una fibra de vidrio que se obtiene por aplicación de un aglutinante acuoso con una resina de condensaciónfenólica a la manta y el endurecimiento del aglutinante, caracterizado porque comprende agregar un ácido débil con un valor de pK inferior a 4,0 a la mantaantes de endurecer el aglutinante.
