Abstract
La invención está relacionada con un proceso para la producción de un recubrimiento de protección sobre la superficie de un artículo de vidrio ocerámica, dicho recubrimiento tiene una resistencia mejorada a los tratamientos de lavado cáustico.Para llevar a cabo el proceso de la invención una corrientede un gas portador oxigenado que contiene un precursor termodescomponible de óxido de estano (SnO2) y un precursor termodescomponible de óxido de silicio(SiO2) en una relación molar del primer precursor al precursor posterior entre 0,6 y 3,0, dichos precursores estando presentes en forma evaporada, yademás conteniendo vapor de agua en una cantidad de, al menos, 1 mol por 100 moles de gas portador, es suministrada a chorro uniformemente sobre lasuperficie a ser recubierta, dicha superficie teniendo una temperatura por arriba de las temperaturas de descomposición de dichos precursores ycantidades de al menos 550°C, para depositar un recubrimiento de protección deóxido mezclado que comprende óxido de estano y óxido de silicio, y ladeposición es continuada hasta obtener un espesor del recubrimiento de entre 240 y 1.500 L.
