Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte ved fremstilling av et beskyttende belegg på en flate av en glass- eller keramisk artikel, hvilket belegg har en forbedret motstandsevne mot lutvaskbehandlinger. tJnder utføring av fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen, kollideres en strøm av en oksygenholdig bærergass som inneholder en varmespaltbar forløper av tinnoksyd (SnOj) og en varme- spaltbar forløper av silisiumoksyd (SiOj) i det raolare forhold 0,6-3,0 mellom tinnoksydforløperen og silisium- oksydforløperen, hvor forløperne foreligger i fordampet form, og som ytterligere inneholder minst 1 mol vann- damp pr. 100 mol bærergass, enhetlig mot flaten som skal belegges, hvor flaten har en temperatur som er over spaltningspunktet for forløperne og er minst 550°C, for å avsette et beskyttende belegg av blandede oksyder omfattende tiimoksyd og silisiumoksyd, og avsettingen fortsettes inntil man erholder en belegg- tykkelse fra 24000-150000 nm.
