Abstract
Un producto de alfalfa híbridos y no híbridos y un método para sintetizar un producto de alfalfa que tiene uniformidad incrementada para tratamientospreseleccionados que tiene uniformidad mejorada para tratamientos seleccionados, incluyendo fecha de floración, promedio de maduración, promediode crecimiento, inactividad durante el otono y resistencia al frío. El método selecciona germoplasma,incluyendo, una línea macho estéril citoplásmica, una línea macho estérilgenética, una línea de mantenimiento, una línea restauradora, y una línea quetiene citoplasma normal, con tratamientos deseables desde el punto de vista agronómico. Las plantas que han crecido del germoplasma son clasificadas yagrupadas para tratamientos predeterminados en etapas diferentes de prueba y aumento de semilla. El método selecciona genéticamente las plantas deseablesque tengan los tratamientos predeterminados para el aumento de semillas.
