Abstract
Se describe una composición de vidrio de color azul, absorbente de la radiación infrarrojay ultravioleta, que tiene una porción de vidrio baseconsistente en: SiO2 66 a 75 por ciento en peso; Na2O 10 a 20 por porciento en peso; CaO 5 a 15 porc iento en peso; MgO 0 a 5 por ciento en peso; Al2O3 0 a 5por ciento en peso; K2O 0 a 5 por ciento en peso; caracterizada porque posee una porción absorbente de la radiación solar y colorante consistente en: hierrototal 0,53 a 1,1 por ciento enpeso ; coO 5 a 40 PPM; SnO2 0 a 2,0 por ciento en peso; CeO2 O a 1,0 por ciento en peso; TiO2 0 a 0,5 por ciento en peso; ZnO 0 a0,5 por ciento; Nd2O3 0 a 0,5 por ciento en peso; MnO2 o a o,1 por ciento en peso; MoO3 0 a 100 PPM; Cr2O3 0 a 100PPM; V2O 5 0 a 75 PPM; NiO 0 a 10 PPM; Seo a 3 PPM; cuyo vidrio tiene un redox de 0,25 a 0,35, una transmitancia luminosa de al menos un 55% y un color que posee una longitud de onda dominantede 485 a 491 nanometros y una pureza deexcitación de 3 a 1 8 por ciento. También se describe una lámina de vidrio hecha con dicha composición.
