Abstract

Se proporciona un artículo con una cubierta permeable a líquidos, una capa divisoria impermeable a líquidos y un dispositivo absorbente con porcioneslaterales longitudinales colocadas en la parte intermedia del mismo. La cubierta y/o lacapa divisoria pueden extenderse lejos de las porcioneslaterales longitudinales para formar bordes laterales longitudinales del artículo absorbente. El artículo absorbente además incluye barreras lateralesformadas uniendo los bordes lateraleslong itudinales hacia adentro al dispositivo absorbente. En una modalidad preferida, las barreras lateraleslongitudinales integrales tienen un miembro de tensión para transmitir una configuración curva al artículo absorbente.
