Abstract

Se refiere a un ADN que codifica parte del receptor de ecdisona que comprende la secuencia que se muestra en Seq.ID Bro.2; Seq DE Nro.3; Seg. IDNro.4 o Seq. ID Nro.6 o una secuencia que muestra homología a una de éstas, o la cual hibridizaa una de éstas, o la cual es degenerada como el resultadodel código genético. Estos receptores esteroides son factores regulatorios transcripcionales eucaróticos, los cuales, en respuesta a la unión de lahormona esteroidea, unen elementosespecí ficos al ADN y activan la transcripción. El receptor esteroide de ecdisona de Helothis virescens (HEcR)puede ser inducido por inductores no esteroides. El uso de un no esteroide como inductor permite que el sistema sea utilizadoen aplic aciones agroquímicas yfarmacéuticas. Otro objeto es entonces, un polipéptido que comprende el receptor de ecdisona o fragmento del mismo. Se refiere también a unpolipéptido de fusión que comprende el anterior polipéptido; a un ADN r ecombinante o una construcción de ADN recombinante que comprende el ADN quecodifica al menos parte del receptor de ecdisona; a una célula transformada y que es capaz de expresar el polipéptido; a un vegetal, un hongo o mamíferoquecomprende la co nstrucción de ADN recombinante; a un método para seleccionar compuestos capaces de unirse a receptores esteroides; a dichoscompuestos; una composición agrícola o farmacéutica; el uso del compuesto y a un método paraproducir una prote ína, un péptido o un polipéptido.
