Abstract

Un artículo sanitario descartable, tal como un panal, una toalla higiénica femenina o un producto sanitario similar incluye una pluralidad de materialesque consisten en: desde la cara destinada a estar en contacto con la piel hacia fuera, una capas uperior de un material hidrófilo y permeable al vapor, unnúcleo de un material sumamente absorbente dispuestos hacia afuera respecto de la capa superior para absorber los fluidos recibidos a través de dicha capasuperior, el núcleo tiene unasuperfic ie interna que comunica fluidos a la capa superior, una superficie externa y dos superficies laterales, una barrerahecha de un material no tejido, por ejemplo, de dos capas SM o de tres capas SMS, hidrófobo y permeable al vapor paralimitar l a fuga de líquidos y disiparel calor y el vapor de agua. Cuando el artículo se encuentra en uso la barrera adopta una configuración que presenta una base adyacente a la superficieexterna del nucleo y un par de pestanas que se proyectandesde la base y se extienden hacia adentro adyacentes a la superficie lateral respectiva delnúcleo. La capa posterior está hecha de un material no tejido de varias capas, por ejemplo, de dos capas SM o de tres capas SMS, hidrófobo y permeablealvapor para l imitar la fuga de líquidos y disipar el calor y el vapor de agua. La capa posterior está dispuesta al menos en parte hacia afuera respecto de labase.
