Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una unidad absorbente para utilizarse en un artículo absorbente, caracterizada porque comprende: una guata fibrosa celulósica, altamente porosa, cuya guata comprende capas fibrosas primera superior y segunda inferior superpuestas para definir una interfase de capas entre las mismas, cuya guata fibrosa está provista de una cantidad de material superabsorbente, altamente absorbente de líquido, colocado en dicha interfase entre capas, cuyo material superabsorbente está dispuesto en regiones separadas, espaciadas entre sí, para definir zonas relativamente libres de material superabsorbente en dicha interfase entre capas, cuyas primera y segunda capas fibrosas tienen realces relativamente densificados, que producen efecto de mecha, en dichas zonas libres de material superabsorbente adyacentes a dichas regiones separadas de material superabsorbente para fomentar el transporte de líquido por efecto de mecha, por lo menos una de cuyas primera y segunda capas fibrosas tiene una capa tipo papel, relativamente densificada, formada integralmente, con efecto de mecha, proporcionada en la superficie de la misma en dicha interfase entre capas para incrementar aún más dicho transporte de líquido por efecto de mecha, estando por lo menos una parte de dicha capa con efecto de mecha en contacto físico con por lo menos una parte del material superabsorbente, para promover la transferencia de líquidos entre los mismos.
