Abstract
En herdbar beleggblanding for å danne et termisk isolerende lag, hvor blandingen omfatter: (a) høyporøse partikler av et materiale oppnådd ved tørking av en fuktig solgel, idet partiklene har en porøsitet på minst 80 % og en partikkelstørrelse i området fra 5 µm til 4,0 mm; og (b) et filmdannende harpikssystem omfattende en filmdannende polymer, hvori partiklene (a) er dispergert i harpikssystemet (b), og harpikssystemet (b) inneholder minst en stabilisator med en gjennomsnittlig molekylvekt i området fra omtrent 1.000 til omtrent 4.000, idet stabilisatoren er minst et element valgt fra gruppen bestående av etylenoksid-propylenoksid blokkopolymer, poly C2-C3 alkoksylerte C12-C18 mettede eller umettede fettalkoholer, poly C2-C3 alkoksylerte hydrogenerte eller delvis hydrogenerte resinusoljer, poly C2-C3 alkoksylerte hydrogenerte eller delvis hydrogenerte soyabønneoljer, polydimetylsiloksan C2-C3 alkoksylater, og sorbitanester av C12-C18 mettede eller umettede fettsyrer, idet mengdene av partiklene (a) er i området fra 2 til 6 vekt%, basert på vekten av blandingen, og mengden av stabilisatoren er i området fra omtrent 50 til omtrent 90 vekt%, basert på vekten av de høyporøse partikler.
