Abstract

The connector is for joining panels to form a partition. The edge of each panel is covered by a profiled component (4) comprising a web (5) whose width is the panel thickness, flanges (6) to form a U-section with the web and connecting this with outward strips (7) parallel to the web, with further flanges (8) parallel to the flanges (6) at the outer strip edges. Two such adjoining panels may be interconnected with the aid of strips (13) which are clamped against the outsides of two sets of adjoining flanges (6) by means of bolts (14) extending through the gap between the panels. Resilient strips (12) may be interposed between the strips (13) and the flanges (6).
