Abstract

In order to make it possible to perform a washing operation appropriately in an air-conditioner (100), this air-conditioner (100) includes: a refrigeration cycle (RC) including a compressor (32) for compressing a refrigerant, and an indoor heat exchanger (64) for cooling or heating air in an air-conditioned room; a control device (20) for controlling the refrigeration cycle (RC) to perform a washing operation for washing a surface of the indoor heat exchanger (64); an indoor fan (66) for delivering air to the indoor heat exchanger (64); and an air state sensor for detecting a temperature or humidity of air that flows in from the air-conditioned room. The control device (20) includes: a function (S 102, S 104) of driving the indoor fan (66) for a predetermined time before performing the washing operation; and a function (S 110, S 120) of allowing the washing operation to be performed on condition that a detection result from the air state sensor after the indoor fan (66) has been driven is within a first predetermined range.
