Abstract

An air conditioner is provided that is capable of canceling washing of an indoor heat exchanger. An air conditioner (100) has a refrigerant circuit (Q) in which a refrigerant circulates in a cooling cycle through a compressor (31), a condenser, an outdoor expansion valve (34) and an evaporator in this order, and a controller that controls at least the compressor (31) and the outdoor expansion valve (34). One of the condenser and the evaporator is an outdoor heat exchanger (32) and the other is an indoor heat exchanger (12). The controller cancels freezing or condensing of the indoor heat exchanger (12), or cooling operation after heating operation, based on a signal from a remote controller or the portable terminal.
