Abstract
Una composicion de copoliester grado reactor, asi como una pelicula encogible por calor hecha a partir de la misma, tiene inesperadamente una ductilidad superior que una combinacion de componentes multiples de copoliesteres con las mismas concentraciones de monomeros. La composicion de copoliester grado reactor se hace a partir de un componente diacido de al menos aproximadamente 90 por ciento en moles y un componente diol de (a) aproximadamente 72 a aproximadamente 88 por ciento en moles de etilenglicol, aproximadamente 10 a aproximadamente 15 por ciento en moles de 1,4- ciclohexandimetanol, y aproximadamente 2 a aproximadamente 13 por ciento en moles de dietilenglicol, o (b) aproximadamente 59 a aproximadamente 77.5 por ciento en moles de etilenglicol, aproximadamente 15 a aproximadamente 28 por ciento en moles de 1,4- ciclohexandimetanol, y aproximadamente 7.5 a aproximadamente 13 por ciento en moles de dietilenglicol. Adicionalmente, la pelicula encogible por calor puede producirse para adaptar de cerca las caracteristicas de encogimiento de cloruro de polivinilo variando las cantidades del componente diol de la composicion del copoliester grado reactor. Ademas, una composicion de copoliester grado reactor tiene un valor de color b* de -1.0 a menos de 4.5, en donde el componente diacido es al menos aproximadamente 90 por ciento en moles de acido tereftalico y el componente diol es aproximadamente 52 a aproximadamente 88 por ciento en moles de etilenglicol, aproximadamente 10 a aproximadamente 28 por ciento en moles de 1,4-ciclohexandimetanol, y aproximadamente 2 hasta aproximadamente 20 por ciento en moles de dietilenglicol.
