Abstract
Esta invencion se refiere a un catalizador de oxido de alquileno el cual contiene plata y uno o más promotores de metal alcalino, soportados sobre un portador preparado mediante un proceso que comprende mezclar componentes cerámicos en forma de partículas, con una cantidad de 0.5 a 50 partes en peso en base a 100 partes de los componentes cerámicos, de un polímero orgánico sintético en la forma de un polvo que tiene un tamaño promedio de partícula de menos de 400 micrometros y un contenido de ceniza de menos de 0.1 % en peso, y luego cocer u hornear a una temperatura suficiente para quemar el polímero orgánico sintético, sintetizar el componente en forma de partículas y formar un portador o soporte.
