Abstract

Un método para conformar un artículo a partir de una pieza virgen de acero revestido con zinc o una aleación de zinc, que comprende los pasos de: a) proveer una pieza virgen del acero revestido con zinc o aleación de zinc; b) recalentamiento de la pieza virgen obtenida en el paso a) hasta una temperatura de recalentamiento TRH en el intervalo Ac3 - 200 °C del acero; c) someter a mantenimiento de temperatura la pieza virgen durante un tiempo de hasta 3 minutos a la temperatura de recalentamiento TRH; d) dar forma al artículo en una prensa; y e) enfriar el artículo. El acero consta de (en % en peso) C: 0.01 a 0.2; Mn: 3.1 a 9.0; Al: 0.5 a 3.0; y opcionalmente elementos ligantes adicionales que se seleccionan a partir de Si, Cr, V, Nb, Ti y Mo; impurezas inevitables y el resto es Fe.
