Abstract
La presente invención se dirige al problema de proporcionar, un agente de tratamiento de superficie de metal capaz de exhibir excelente resistencia a la corrosión y excelente adhesión de recubrimiento en materiales de metal pintados; y un método de tratamiento de superficie de metal. El problema se resuelve por un agente de pretratamiento que se utiliza en un pretratamiento de un tratamiento de conversión química realizado para formar un recubrimiento de conversión química en/sobre una superficie de un material de metal, el agente de pretratamiento que contiene: un alcoxido de metal (A) que contiene por lo menos un elemento de metal seleccionado de zirconio, titanio vanadio y aluminio; y por lo menos un ácido sulfonico (B) seleccionado de ácido metanosulfonico, ácido etanosulfonico, ácido hidrocimetanosulfonic o y ácido hidrocietanosulfonico. El problema también se resuelve por un agente de tratamiento de conversión química que contiene un alcoxido de zirconio (a) y una fuente de suministro de iones que contiene zirconio (b) y tiene un pH de 1.5 a 6.5.
