Abstract

La presente invención se refiere al uso de una composición acuosa de recubrimiento alcalino para el recubrimiento de sustratos de acero recubiertos de zinc o de aleación de zinc, que comprende uno o sulfatos más alcalinos, y uno o más carbonatos alcalinos, en donde el pH de la composición varía de 9-12. La presente invención también define un método para el recubrimiento no reactivo de sustratos de acero revestidos de zinc o aleación de zinc mediante el uso de dichas composiciones y se refiere además a la aplicación de dicho método como un sustituto para pre-fosfatación de sustratos de acero revestidos de zinc o aleación de zinc en aplicaciones industriales.
