Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una planta de pimiento (Capsicum annuum L.) que comprende al menos un QTL seleccionado de QTL1, QTL2 y QTL3, que cuando está presente lleva a la planta a producir frutos con un contenido total aumentado de terpenoides, en donde tal QTL1 se puede obtener de una planta de pimiento que comprende tal QTL, la semilla representativa, la cual se depositó ante la NCIMB bajo el número NCIMB 42140, y en donde tal QTL2 y QTL3 se pueden obtener de una planta de pimiento que comprende tal QTL, la semilla representativa se depositó ante la NCIMB bajo el número NCIMB 42138.
