Abstract

En este documento se proporciona una suspensión de cátodo de batería de iones de litio, que comprende: un material activo de cátodo, un agente conductor, un material aglutinante y un solvente, en donde el material activo de cátodo tiene un tamaño de partícula D50 en el rango de aproximadamente 10 µm a aproximadamente 50 µm, y en donde la suspensión revestida sobre un colector de corriente que tiene un espesor de película húmeda de aproximadamente 100 µm tiene un tiempo de secado de aproximadamente 5 minutos o menos en un entorno que tiene una temperatura de aproximadamente 60°C a aproximadamente 90°C y una humedad relativa de aproximadamente 25% a aproximadamente 40%. La suspensión de cátodos descrita en la presente tiene una dispersión homogénea de ingredientes y una capacidad de secado rápido para hacer una batería de iones de litio con alta calidad y rendimiento constante. Además, estas propiedades de la suspensión de cátodos aumentan la productividad y reducen el costo de fabricación de las baterías de iones de litio.
