Abstract
Un tubo de acero soldado por resistencia eléctrica para una viga de torsión, en el cual una porción de metal base incluye, en términos de % en masa, de 0.04 a 0.12% de C, de 0.03 a 1.20% de Si, de 0.30 a 2.50% de Mn, de 0.08 a 0.24 % de Ti, 0.005 a 0.500% de Al, 0.01 a 0.06% de Nb, y 0.0005 a 0.0100% de N, un balance que incluye Fe e impurezas, en donde Vc90, definido por las siguientes fórmulas (i) y (ii), es 200 o más, una relación de masa de contenido de Ti a contenido de C es de 0.85 a 5.00, una relación de área de ferrita es de 80% o más, un tamaño promedio de grano de cristal de grano de ferrita es de 10 µm o menos, y una relación de aspecto promedio de granos de cristal de ferrita es de 2.0 o menos, en una microestructura metalográfica de una porción central en una dirección de grosor de pared de la porción de metal base; logVc90 = 2.94 - 0.75 (ßa-1) Fórmula (i); ßa = 2.7C + 0.4Si + Mn + 0.45Ni + 0.8Cr + Mo Fórmula (ii).
