Abstract
Se divulgan métodos y aparato para comunicarse por medio de un cable de soldadura. Un ejemplo de fuente de energía de tipo soldadura incluye un convertidor de energía, un circuito receptor, y un controlador. El convertidor de energía convierte energía de entrada en energía de tipo soldadura en función de un punto de ajuste de voltaje de soldadura y emitirá la energía de tipo soldadura por medio de un circuito de soldadura. El circuito receptor recibe una comunicación por medio del circuito de soldadura mientras la corriente está fluyendo a través del circuito de soldadura o después de que la corriente ha dejado de fluir a través del circuito de soldadura. La comunicación incluye la información de la retroalimentación del voltaje de soldadura que se mide en un dispositivo remoto desde la fuente de energía mientras la corriente está fluyendo a través del circuito de soldadura. El controlador controla la salida de energía de tipo soldadura mediante el convertidor de energía de acuerdo con un bucle de retroalimentación del voltaje utilizando la información de la retroalimentación del voltaje de soldadura para regular un voltaje de soldadura en el dispositivo remoto al punto de ajuste de voltaje de soldadura.
