La presente invención proporciona un sistema de revestimiento multicapa, que comprende una primera composición de revestimiento, una segunda composición de revestimiento y una tercera composición de revestimiento, en donde la primera composición de revestimiento comprende una resina de poliéster y una resina amino, la segunda composición de revestimiento comprende una resina acrílica nitro-modificada y polvos de aluminio electrochapados, y la tercera composición de revestimiento comprende una resina acrílica y una resina anti-corrimiento. La presente invención también proporciona un método para revestir un sustrato con el sistema de revestimiento multicapa y el sustrato revestido con el mismo.
